Your morning pick me up doesn't have to be a cappuccino any more. Or a disgusting soy latte (along with the hormonal disruptions). Just make yourself a delicious, healthy coffee shop alternative that tastes fantastic.
1 teaspoon of instant coffee or shot of espresso
1 cup of cold coconut milk (or hemp milk or nut milk)
1 tablespoon of maca powder
1 tablespoon lucuma powder
1 cup of ice
Blend all ingredients together and serve in cup.
To make nut milk (or hemp milk), just blend about 100 grams of nuts (or hemp seeds) with a litre of water in a high speed blender for about 3 minutes. you can add 2 pitted dates for flavour too.
Strain through a nut milk bag and keep in the fridge as a milk replacement that has high protein and good fats.
